Here's the Central Florida weather forecast for Wednesday evening and the rest of the week:

  • Hot, dry conditions persist across Central Florida
  • Temperatures skyrocket Thursday and stay there for several days
  • SEE BELOW: See our 7-day forecast

We had comfortable temperatures to start out our Wednesday, but we warmed up quickly for the afternoon.

Highs today topped out in the low to mid 80s, only a degree or two above average for this time of year.

Temperatures will skyrocket into the 90s Thursday and stay there for several days. No rain expected through the weekend, but there is a system next week that may bring more.

Mostly clear skies are in the forecast through the overnight hours. Temperatures will be mild, dropping only into the mid 60s. With some moisture working its way back into Central Florida, there is a chance for some fog as we head toward daybreak.

Lots of sunshine and dry weather will stick around for Thursday and the rest of the week. With winds out of the south, temperatures will be hot for the next several days. By Friday, we will be getting close to breaking records with highs in the mid 90s.

The weekend remains hot and dry, but there is a system that will move in early next week and increase rain chances.

Boating conditions look pretty good other than a bit of a chop due to breezy winds. A moderate rip current risk sticks around.

An isolated shower cannot be completely ruled out for Wednesday as winds continue off of the Atlantic. Most will be dry with plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures. Highs inland will be in the upper 80s to around 90 degrees and mid to low 80s along the coast. Not much will change for the rest of the week as temperatures continue to warm up even more. A system is expected to move through early next week and will hopefully bring some much needed rain.
