Prosecutors agreed to drop a second-degree murder charge against Kody Roach.

Roach was shot by Orlando Police officers in 2014 after he was spotted with a gun outside the Vixen nightclub.

An officer's bullet also struck 22-year-old Maria Castillio. She died of her injuries.

An investigation by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement cleared Orlando Police Officer Eduardo Sanguino in the shooting, ruling he used justifiable force.

Roach will be sentenced May 10.
