A second arrest has been made in connection to a string of more than 30 vehicle burglaries on UCFs campus last month.

  • 2 people arrested in about 37 vehicle break-ins at UCF
  • Sae Broaden, 21, was taken into custody on Tuesday
  • Broaden also charged with child neglect in unrelated video

Sae Von Tye Jacarr Broaden, 21, was arrested Tuesday on 35 burglary charges. He was one of four men who police said stole a vehicle and smashed student vehicles on the University of Central Florida's campus.

UCF Police Chief Richard Beary announced the arrest Friday. Earlier this month, Luther Braddy, 21, was taken arrested on burglary charges.

According to investigators from UCF Police and the Orlando Police Department, Broaden, who also went by Saebo Gonzalez, posted items on social media related to the vehicle break-ins.

A post at 12:52 p.m. April 18 on Facebook stated: "Window poking ... early morning ... call it wake and brake."

In addition, Broaden was seen in a Facebook Live video waving around a Glock handgun while lying in a bed next to his 3-week-old child, investigators said.

Beary said Broaden already has 52 felony arrests.

In addition to the 35 burglary charges, Broaden is also charged with one count of criminal mischief, one count of child neglect, one count of possession of a firearm/ammunition by a convicted felon and one count of contributing to the delinquency or dependency of a minor.

The Department of Children and Families has been notified and are also conducting an investigation related to the Facebook video.

Breary said there are still two more suspects in the vehicle break-ins.
