The Polite Pig, a Southern-style "modern barbecue" restaurant at Disney Springs by the owners of The Ravenous Pig and Cask & Larder, has an opening date.

The restaurant will open Monday, April 10, Disney announced Wednesday on its blog.
The Polite Pig will feature an open kitchen and serve up Southern-style dishes such as tomato and watermelon salad, mac and cheese and smoked corn. It will also serve craft beer and cocktails and have a bourbon bar.

The Polite Pig is owned by James and Julie Petrakis — award-winning Central Florida chefs who also launched The Ravenous Pig and Swine & Sons in Winter Park and Cask & Larder at Orlando International Airport — and James' brother, Brian.
