A memo from former FBI director James Comey is once again shaking things up in Washington.

The revelation being called the "Comey memo" reveals the president may have tried to influence Comey on the Russian investigation, according to the New York Times.

The New York Times reports that President Donald Trump asked Comey to just let go of the investigation into former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, according to a memo made by Comey.

Again, the White house denies the claims, but others are not letting this go.

Republican chairman of the House Oversight Committee Representative Jason Chaffetz demanded that the FBI turn over all “memoranda, notes, summaries and recordings” of discussions between Trump and Comey.

Democrats are calling for action as well.

Orlando's U.S. Representative Val Demings said on Twitter:

Palm Beach U.S. Congressman Ted Deutch tweeted that he wants Comey to testify.

This is another political shakeup coming out of D.C. The Washington Post reported that Trump gave classified information to Russian officials during a visit last week.
