It has been a hot start to the weekend with high temperatures Saturday afternoon in the low 90s.

With the humidity, some spots felt more like the mid-90s. The east coast sea breeze is moving west and will help to spark a few showers and storms early in the evening. Rain chances will start to increase Sunday and especially into Monday.

Partly cloudy skies will continue through the overnight hours. We’ll see a few lingering showers early, then dry as we head toward daybreak on Sunday. Temperatures will be warm, dropping only into the mid to upper 70s. If heading out early, watch for some areas of dense fog.

We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds to end our weekend with high temperatures staying around 90 degrees. There will be a slightly higher chance for showers and storms Sunday afternoon as the east coast sea breeze moves inland. An approaching system will bring a high likelihood for showers early next work week. In fact, at least a slight chance for rain stick around through Thursday. Temperatures will not be impacted much.
