A 50-acre brush fire is burning in Geneva, according to Seminole County Fire Rescue.
The fire started in a heavily wooded area just northwest of Squirrel Run.
Officials say the plume is smoke has dwindled, but the smell of smoke lingers in the area.
The Seminole County Alert One chopper performed water drops.
The Division of Forestry assisted Seminole County with fighting the brush fire.
Officials said the fire has been contained.
