There's no big battle brewing here.

Disney World's The Hall of Presidents attraction will feature a speaking animatronic Donald Trump when it reopens.

Since Trump was elected president, many have wondered what would happen to the Magic Kingdom attraction.

On Sunday, News 13 was the first to confirm that the president would have a speaking part. For months, there had been much speculation that Disney would choose to silence him, opting to revert back to a previous version of the attraction.

The Hall of Presidents, which closed in January for refurbishment, is set to reopen later this year, Disney said, although many expected it to reopen in time for the Fourth of July.

So what's the holdup?

A recent report from Vice's Motherboard claims that Trump is the holdup. Citing an "anonymous source," the site's article says the president's communication team has insisted on writing the speech itself, even though the process is usually a collaborative effort with the current administration and Disney Imagineers.

"When Disney tried to get this process started earlier this year," the source told Motherboard, "Trump's people said, 'We'll be writing the speech that the president's audio-animatronic figure will be saying.'"

However, Disney says that's not the case. In a statement released Tuesday, Jacquee Wahler, Disney's vice president of communications, said the Vice report is wrong.

"The Vice article is inaccurate. As we have stated, President Trump will have a speaking role in the Hall of Presidents like every president since 1993," Wahler said.

She also said both parties have been working closely together on the process of adding Trump to the attraction. In fact, a recording session has been scheduled, she said.

The Hall of Presidents is a 20-minute-long show about the history of the U.S. and the presidency. It features an animatronic version of every U.S. president. Since the 1990s, starting with the Clinton administration, every sitting president has recorded a speech to be used in a portion of the show.

When the attraction reopens, it will feature a brand-new show, Disney World shared Tuesday. The theater will be upgraded with new lighting, a new sound system and a high-definition projection system.
