A bear hanging out high in a tree in a grocery store parking lot in Holly Hill drew onlookers Thursday.

- Animal Control has not removed the animal
Around 6:35 a.m., a bear was spotted in a tree of the Winn-Dixie parking lot at 1541 Nova Road in Holly Hill.
According to Volusia County resident Terrie Turpin, the bear has been sighted day to day around the Holly Hill and Primrose Street area.
Animal control officers arrived on the scene briefly but did not capture the bear.
An employee at the Winn-Dixie says the bear left the tree Thursday evening, crossed Nova Road and ran into some bushes.
