Sabrett hot dogs are among millions of pounds of hot dogs and sausages being recalled after small pieces of bone and cartilage were found in the food.

At least one customer has reported a minor mouth injury, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The products were sold in 21 states, including Florida.

The recall by Marathon Enterprises Inc. covers about 7.2 million pounds of hot dogs and sausages under the following brands:

  • Sabrett
  • Papaya King
  • 1906 Premium
  • Western Beef
  • Stew Leonard's

The affected products have sell-by dates between June 19 and Oct. 6. The products have establishment number “EST. 8854” inside the USDA mark of inspection.
