Lets get a check of the forecast for the rest of the week:

Temperatures quickly climbed into the low 90s Wednesday afternoon, but it felt much hotter. Humidity made it feel more like triple digits. A few showers and storms popping up helped to cool things down, but also brought some gusty wind and heavy rain. Rain chances stay high over the next few days.

Partly cloudy are in the forecast through the overnight hours. Temperatures will be warm and muggy, dropping into the mid-70s.

Not much of a change is expected over the next few days with afternoon rain chances staying high and hot high temperatures. Expect partly sunny skies in the morning, then showers and storms for the rest of the day.

Temperatures will make it into the mid to low 90s with triple digit heat index numbers. Lower rain chances will arrive early next week.

In the tropics, no development is expected in the next five days.

Watch for developing storms if heading to the beach or out on the boat. Don’t forget the sunscreen with a high UV index sticking around.
