A car hit a fire hydrant Saturday, causing flooding in one Orlando neighborhood, Orange County Fire Rescue said.

The incident happened along Sky Lake Circle, near the Las Palmas at Sand Lake Condominiums.

Crews from Orlando Utilities Commission were called to the scene to shut off the valve.

The water may have to be pumped out, officials said.

Residents in the area may experience lower water pressure, according to OUC. There have not been any reports of interruption of water service.
