More than $50 million will go to U.S. national parks for maintenance and funding, Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke announced Saturday.

Zinke made the announcement at Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado.

The funding will go to 42 parks in 29 states.

According to the Interior Department, Congress is providing $20 million, while $33 million will come from private organizations.

The funding will help improve trails, increase visitor access and restore buildings.
