A police officer, a fire fighter and a man were taken to the hospital during a house fire in Altamonte Springs during the overnight, according to the Seminole County Fire Rescue.

At around 2:37 a.m., two men and a woman became trapped inside a house on 137 Meadowlark Drive when it was on fire and one of the men called the Seminole County Fire Rescue to say he could not get out, according to fire and rescue officials.

One of the men in the house had to be resuscitated by fire fighters after being pulled out of the burning house, stated officials.

A police officer was injured when he broke a window trying to rescue the people in the house before the fire department showed up, officials stated, adding that a fire fighter was injured as well.

All three were taken to the Florida Hospital North in Altamonte Springs, with officials saying that all three had injuries that were non-life threatening.

The investigation into the fire is ongoing.
