  • Child was in crosswalk, but traffic had green light
  • Troopers said driver left the scene without stopping

The crash happened at about 4:05 p.m. near the intersection of North Hiawassee Road and Balboa Drive.

According to a report, the boy was attempting to cross Hiawassee Road in the crosswalk. An unknown vehicle was southbound on Hiawassee Road with a green light.
