Officers said they are looking for people that may be boating under the influence. They're also looking for anyone who may be violating any navigational laws.

Authorities said they will look for indicators before stopping boaters and during.

"If someone is boating under the influence usually in our slower areas you may see someone running on a plane or driving their boat a lot faster," FWC officer Chad Weber said.

Officers will be patrolling every waterway in Florida.

Along with looking for BUI's, officers will be doing safety inspections to make sure everyone gets home safe this holiday weekend.
