Highs made it into the upper 70s to around 80 degrees; unseasonably warm for January. We’ll see a dip in temperatures over the next couple of days as another cold front drops in. This front will bring a decent chance for showers and maybe a few storms Tuesday.

Clouds will continue to increase through the overnight hours. Rain will begin to move in early Tuesday morning and some heavy showers, along with some rumbles of thunder will be possible. Temperatures will be mild, dropping into the mid to low 60s.

An approaching front will bring a high chance for rain Tuesday, mainly in the morning. Showers will taper off through the afternoon as the front starts to move south. A thunderstorm or two will be possible, along with some heavy rain and gusty wind.

Temperatures will drop back slightly from Monday, reaching the mid-70s. Colder air will move in mid-week, with highs only in the 60s Wednesday and Thursday.

Ocean conditions will start to deteriorate following the passage of the front. Watch for hazardous conditions if heading into the water or out on the boat.
