A Palm Bay woman has done just that, celebrating her 103rd birthday Friday.

Aleen Potter was surrounded by friends at her RiverView Senior Resort in Palm Bay during a party in her honor.

There was birthday cake with 103 candles and lots of singing.

The Springfield, Missouri native moved to Florida at the young age of 96 to be closer to family.

She was born in 1915, during World War I.

Her best advice about life? Have a glass of wine every once in a while and enjoy time with friends and family.
