Widespread, thick fog started out our Thursday with temperatures around 60 degrees.

A lot of sunshine followed the fog for the afternoon as temperatures warmed quickly to around 80 degrees.

No major changes are expected over the next several days with unseasonably warm and dry conditions sticking around, along with the potential for morning fog.

Mostly clear skies are in the forecast through the overnight hours with mild temperatures in the mid to low 60s. Some of our northern counties will drop into the upper 50s.

Watch out again for the development of thick fog. Visibility will be greatly reduced and may impact your morning commute.

High pressure nearby will keep our weather quiet and warm for Friday and into the weekend. Highs will remain well above average, in the mid to low 80s.

There’s a few showers back in the forecast next week, but no big rain makers are expected with no change in temperatures.

Boating conditions look favorable over the next several days, but a persistent easterly swell with keep the risk for rip currents elevated.

Head into the water around a lifeguard stand and stay safe.
