After another foggy start, temps again soared into the low and mid 80s under mostly sunny skies.

We'll again see just a few clouds this evening, with temps holding in the 70s. Fog will again be a concern overnight, with dense fog possible in spots. Overnight lows will be in the low to mid 60s.

The warmth and dry air continues for Sunday. The fog will burn off by mid-morning, leaving plenty of sunshine and highs in the low to mid 80s.

For race-day at Daytona, expect morning fog and temps in the upper 50s. The race itself will feature dry and warm conditions. Temps at the start of the race will be in the upper 70s and by the checkered flag, expect temps in the low 70s.

No major changes are expected heading into next week. The ridge of high pressure will remain in place Monday, bringing more warmth and dry air into the area. Highs for Monday will be in the low to mid 80s.

On Tuesday, a very weak disturbance will float through part of Florida. This system may be able to produce a few very isolated rain showers, but most will stay dry. Highs for Tuesday will be in the low to mid 80s.

An isolated shower cannot be ruled out on Wednesday, but again most will stay dry. Highs for Wednesday will be in the low to mid 80s.

The stagnant weather pattern marches on heading into next weekend, with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies and temps holding in the 80s.
