The planned SpaceX launch for early Sunday morning has been postponed.

  • SpaceX wants to do additional testing
  • New launch date will be announced

The stand-down announcement came just a day before the planned launch of the HispaSat 30-W-6 communications satellite on a Falcon 9 full-thrust rocket. The launch was originally planned for 12:35 a.m., Sunday.

Officials with SpaceX want to conduct additional testing on the fairing's pressurization system.

A new launch date will be announced after testing is complete and availability of the launch range is determined.
