Temperatures were well above the average of 73 degrees, climbing to around 80 degrees inland and the mid to upper 70s along the east coast. We will stay warm for the rest of the week, but rain chances will start to pick up on Thursday.

Mostly clear skies are in the forecast through the overnight hours. Temperatures will not be as cool, falling into the upper 50s to low 60s. There will be the potential for some areas of fog to start out Wednesday.

After the fog burns off, we’ll see partly sunny skies heading into Wednesday afternoon. Temperatures will once again be warm, climbing to around 80 degrees. Some spots will even reach the mid-80s. We have one more dry day, but a front moving in on Thursday will start.

Winds will be breezy along the coast Wednesday, so there will be a slight chop on the water.

Watch for an elevated rip current threat as well if heading to the beach.
