Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash in Volusia County involving a motorcyclist.
The crash happened in Holly Hill on State Avenue and Flomich Avenue at about 8:10 p.m.
Troopers said a 54-year-old man from Hornell, N.Y., was riding a 2005 motorcycle westbound on Flomich when it traveled off the roadway and struck a pole.
The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene, troopers say.
