An early Tuesday morning accident has killed one person in a motorcycle crash and has State Road 60 in Osceola County closed, according to officials.

At around 6:10 a.m., a vehicle and a motorcycle got into an accident on State Road 60 near Mae Bass Road, Sgt. Kim Montes of the Florida Highway Patrol stated in a news release.

The public affairs officer also stated that one person died at the scene of the accident and another person was taken to an area hospital by the fire department.

Montes did not say who the people were or which vehicles, if any, were they using.

Currently, State Road 60 in Osceola County is closed between Peavine Trail and Mae Bass Road at mile marker 441 in Okeechobee due to the fatal accident.
