New date set for rescheduled Falcon 9 launch

The Air Force has confirmed the next launch taking place from the Space Coast.

The 45th Space Wing confirms that Space X has scheduled its next launch of a Falcon 9 rocket for 12:33 a.m. Tuesday from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.

This is a rescheduled launch of Hispasat 3 W-6, a communications satellite, from Sunday, Feb. 25.

The weather is forecast to be 90 percent favorable for a launch despite the incoming cold front.
