There are additional problem at the Progress Energy nuclear power plant in Crystal River.

According to Bay News 9's partner newspaper the Citrus County Chronicle, more cracks have appeared in the walls at the plant's containment building.

That information is coming from an updated report from Progress Energy.

The plant had been offline for two years before the first cracks were found. Now, Progress Energy is working to implement a repair plan.

Just last month, the Florida Public Service Commission approved plans for Progress Energy to start charging customers more money to help cover the costs of those repairs.
