The 9-foot-long female manatee was trapped in November in a Jacksonville storm drain.
After being rescued, Venetia was taken to SeaWorld Orlando for rehabilitation.
"SeaWorld’s Animal Rescue Team and veterinarians began to care for Venetia the moment she arrived. During that time she received regular physicals and checkups to monitor her health and progress," SeaWorld stated in a news release.
SeaWorld staffers and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission workers were on hand for Venetia's release.
