'The Last Jedi' panel set for Star Wars Celebration Orlando

In a couple of months, Star Wars fans will descend on Orlando for Star Wars Celebration.

Many fans have wondered if first footage from the upcoming "The Last Jedi" will premiere at the celebration.

Based on a recent announcement, the possibility seems more likely.

The Star Wars Show revealed Wednesday that a panel on "The Last Jedi" will be held April 14.

Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy and director Rian Johnson will be appear on stage, along with "plenty of surprises and special guests."

There has been no confirmation that any footage from the upcoming movie will be released during the celebration.

The four-day event includes panels, cosplay contest, art show, autograph hall and more.

Star Wars Celebration Orlando will be held April 13-16 at the Orange County Convention Center.

"The Last Jedi" hits theaters Dec. 15.
