Universal Orlando has a new Harry Potter-themed projection show.

  • New projection show at Universal Orlando
  • Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle
  • Multiple times select nights Jan. 31 through Feb. 12

“The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle” debuts Wednesday at Islands of Adventure.

Fans who visited the theme park during A Celebration of Harry Potter this weekend were treated to a special sneak peek.

Universal debuted a holiday-themed projection show at Hogwarts Castle late last year. This time around, the show focuses on the four houses — Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff.

The houses’ crests and other images appear on the side of the castle at different times during the show.

The Sorting Hat acts as the narrator, inviting guests to “try him on” to see which house they belong too.

The new show also features lights, special effects and music inspired by the films.

For now, “The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle” will be shown multiple times select nights Jan. 31 through Feb. 12.

Universal says additional dates will be announced.
