During Friday night's 3A Regional Finals, the Tampa Prep Terrapins only scored in two of the seven innings played.

But when they scored; they scored in bunches.

Tampa Prep put up a five spot in the 3rd and scored five runs in the 6th to clinch a spot in the 3A State Semifinals with a 10-6 win over Trinity Prep.

Down 4-0 in the 3rd, the Terrapins went to work with a 3-run single from Peter Dragna and a 2-run homerun by Durin O'Linger.

But the Saints did not go away.

In the 5th, Ryan Olenek knocked in Tevin Covington to tie the game at five. Dylan Morrissey then scored on an attempted pick-off gone bad to give Trinity Prep a 6-5 lead.

The Terrapins would respond in the 6th with another big inning that got started with a 3-run blast by Nick Adams to give Tampa Prep an 8-6 lead. The Terrapins would tack on two more in the inning, as they are now headed to Port St. Lucue where they will face Providence on Thursday.
