Former Gator and Nature Coast wide receiver Ja'Juan Story has found a home.

A four-star recruit coming out of high school, Story has decided to transfer to TCU, joining his close friend Jamie Byrd (Pasco) who is now with the Horned Frogs.

"I believe he started looking at them because he is a real close friend of Jamie Byrd," Nature Coast assistant Rob Kazmier said. "Jamie is a safety over there at TCU and they both graduated at the same time...and during the recruiting process they were trying to look at some of the same schools. This time around, Ja'Juan contacted Jamie and TCU right away, and I guess they made it happen."

Story informed Gators head coach Will Muschamp of his intent to transfer from Florida last Thursday, and received interest from schools like Wisconsin, South Florida, Indiana, West Virginia, Notre Dame and Duke, but ultimately felt comfortable in Fort Worth.

"I texted Ja'Juan this morning and asked him what was going on and if he made it official, and he said he did," Kazmier said.

Story will be forced to sit out a year due to N.C.A.A. transfer rules.

"He'll sit out a year and help out the best he can with the scout team," Kazmer said. "That is valuable for him to grow as a wide receiver, and it will be a good offense for him to do so."

Story passed for 427 yards and three touchdowns, while rushing for 847 yards and 12 scores and catching seven passes for 123 yards and two TDs his senior season.
