Countryside tight end A.J. Sattinger is taking his talents to the Big East.

The senior TE has verbally committed to Temple University, the team announced on its twitter page Tuesday night:

"Congratulations to AJ Sattinger for committing to Temple today! The Cside family is proud of him."

Sattinger chose the Owls over offers from Ohio, Bowling Green and Western Michigan, among others. Last season, the 6-foot-3, 225-pounder caught 12 passes for 156 yards and a touchdown.

During his recruitment, Sattinger also received heavy interest from Georgia, Florida State, Miami, FIU, Duke and Vanderbilt.
