The Bucs game vs the Washington Redskins will not be seen on local TV this Sunday. The team announced Thursday afternoon they did not sell enough tickets by the NFL's mandated Thursday 4:25pm deadline.

The NFL has a rule saying teams must sell all tickets 72 hours before kickoff to be seen on local TV. However, the league gave teams options this summer to roll back that capacity to just 85%. Bucs owners were one of few NFL teams to take the offer. For the first game of the regular season, the team was unable to sell enough to avoid the blackout.

The next Bucs home game is Sunday October 14th vs the Kansas City Chiefs at 1:00p.m.
