The George Jenkins swim team will leave the 25th Annual City of Lakeland Swimming Championships with smiles on their faces. The Eagles' boys and girls swim teams walked away from Ed Gandy Pool Thursday with bragging rights as the top swim program in the entire Lakeland area.
The Eagles girls team finished first with 199 points: followed by Lakeland with 118, and Lakeland Christian with 69.
The Eagles boys team finished with 155: with Lakeland Christian coming in second at 119 points, and Lakeland in third with 107.
