When you think of some of the best prep golfers in the Bay Area, Academy's Emmy Martin tees off that list.

The senior put on another great showing last month, winning the Mustang Invitational for the third-straight year.

"I think the key to playing that course is just making a lot of birdies,” Martin said. “I knew, especially since I won it two years in a row, it would mean a lot for me to win it again, especially with it being my senior year."

Her success on the course earned her a full scholarship to Texas Christian University, a program that's sent a number of ladies to the LPGA.

"TCU is really know for their golf program,” Martin said. “They've got several top players playing on the LPGA, and that's my ultimate goal.”

With back-to-back district and regional titles under her belt, there's just one more thing she'd like to mark off her score card.

"The next thing is a state championship,” she said. “That's really my goal for this year."
