Carl Cort grew up playing soccer in England.

He remembers being a youngster and what a big deal it was when the professional players would work out with the kids. The Tampa Bay Rowdies forward wanted to provide a similar memory.

Cort and several other Rowdies players hosted a youth clinic for more than 100 kids from the South Tampa YMCA.  After an impromptu autograph session, the players, which also included forward Etienne Barbara, midfielder Rapheal Cox, defender Jordan Gafa, forward Lucky Mikosana and Perry Van Der Beck, the team’s Technical Director and Director of Player Development, conducted various drills where they worked with the kids one-on-one.

The clinic wrapped up with a game pitting the pros vs. the kids.
