It was nearly a flawless performance by the Eagles.

Artavis Scott and Devin Abraham each scored two touchdowns and East Lake rolled Pinellas Park 45-0 on the BHSN Game of the Week.

After a nervous 13-12 win over Palmetto last week, the Eagles were looking to prove they are a team to be feared in Class 7A. They might have done just that with a statement win over the Patriots.

East Lake scored on all four offensive possessions in the first half, and added another on a funble recovery to give them a commanding 31-0 lead at the break. They would continue that dominance in the second half, scoring on their first possession on a 14 yard Weston Fordham touchdown run.

Devin Abraham blocked a punt and recovered it for a touchdown, his second defensive touchdown of the game to give the Eagles a 45-0 lead.

Star WR Artavis Scott finished the game with 76 total yards and two scores. RB Weston Fordham contributed 141 yards on the ground with two touchdowns.

Pinellas Park puts a cap on perhaps their best season in school history, finishing 10-2. RB Pierre Johnson led the Patriots with 124 total yards in the game.

East Lake moves on to face Port Charlotte in the Region Finals.

Devin Abraham was named FBC Mortgage Player of the Game.
