There aren't many players more talented in the Class of 2015 than East Lake wide receiver George Campbell.

ESPN proved that statement, Tuesday, releasing their Top 300 rankings for 2015, and Campbell is right near the top of that list. The 6-5, 185-pound receiver and defensive back, who has nearly 30 scholarship offers, was ranked the No. 3-overall player for rising juniors, and the second best player in the state for his respective class behind LSU-commit and Trinity Christian Academy (Jacksonville, Fla.) corner Kevin Toliver II.

Campbell is already listed as a four-star recruit by 247Sports.com after a breakout sophomore campaign, tallying 766 yards receiving and five touchdowns in 2012. He missed East Lake's spring game, recovering from mid-April surgery on his left wrist, but will be ready to go for fall practice.

East Lake's uber-personable receiver has already taken the recruiting world by storm. He was invited to, and shined, at NIKE's The Opening - a camp that hosts 150 of the nation's top prospects - earlier this month. He also released an early list of top 10 potential schools on twitter, which included Clemson, Florida, FSU, Miami, UCF, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, Vanderbilt and Texas A&M. Three of his East Lake teammates have committed - or signed - with three of his top 10 schools, ex-QB Pete DiNovo (UCF), WR Artavis Scott (Clemson) and OL Mason Cole (Michigan).

Campbell wasn't the only Tampa Bay-area junior to make ESPN's list. Auburndale safety Derwin James Jr. also received some high praise, ranking No. 23 in the Top 300. The Florida State commit also competed at The Opening, and is ranked a four-star recruit by 247Sports.

In addition to Campbell and James Jr., Armwood defensive end Byron Cowart (No. 90), Plant offensive lineman Jake Fruhmorgen (No. 158), Lake Wales safety Marcus Walker (No. 177) and offensive lineman Luke Hiers (No. 243), Largo athlete Jonathan Crawford (No. 274) and IMG Acadmy OL Tyree St. Louis (No. 287) made the rankings.
