Last week: The Panthers survived a scare, overcoming turnovers and setting passing records, in their 50-40 win vs. Bloomingdale.

This week: Plant goes on the road to take on Tampa Bay Tech. Starting offensive lineman Richard Bush suffered a foot injury vs. Bloomingdale and is awaiting test results to determine the extent of damage and his availability against the Titans.

3. Armwood Hawks (4-0)

Last week: The Hawks won their third-consecutive district game with a 27-0 victory against Robinson.

This week: Armwood travels to Jefferson for what should determine the Class 6A-8 district champion.

4. East Lake Eagles (4-0)

Last week: The Eagles defeated Clearwater 61-16, the first points they have allowed this season.

This week: East Lake hosts Tarpon Springs.

5. Lakeland Dreadnaughts (4-0)

Last week: Haines City held it close for a while, but the Dreadnaughts junior Ra’Don Dwight literally ran away with the game, scoring five rushing touchdowns in the 39-18 win.

This week: Lakeland hosts North Miami Beach.

6. Jefferson Dragons (3-0)

Last week: The Dragons had a valuable idle week, giving them extra time to prepare for Armwood.

This week: Jefferson hosts the Hawks, who have allowed only an average of 3.5 points per game this season, while the Dragons are averaging 36 points per game.

7. Largo Packers (3-1)

Last week: Jarvis Stewart led the Packers to a 34-14 victory over Jesuit.

This week: Largo goes on the road to take on Lakewood.

8. Sickles Gryphons (4-0)

Last week: The Gryphons got their first district win of the season, a 44-17 victory against Steinbrenner.

This week: Sickles is idle.

9. Lakewood Spartans (3-1)

Last week: The Spartans defeated Gibbs, 24-14, for a 5A-8 victory.

This week: Lakewood hosts Largo.

10. Winter Haven Blue Devils (3-1)

Last week: The Blue Devils shut out Orlando Evans, 28-0.

This week: Winter Haven goes on the road to play Kathleen.

11. Lake Gibson Braves (1-1)

Last week: The Braves were idle.

This week: Lake Gibson hosts Miami Palmetto.

12. Plant City Raiders (3-0)

Last week: The Raiders outlasted Durant, 14-13, for neighborhood bragging rights.

This week: Plant City goes on the road to play Bloomingdale.

13. Pasco Pirates (2-1)

Last week: The Pirates defense came up big in a 35-0 shutout vs. Wesley Chapel.

This week: Pasco goes on the road for a key Class 5A-6 game vs. Nature Coast, the BHSN Game of the Week on Channel 47 and HD 1147.

14. Tampa Catholic Crusaders (3-1)

Last week: The Crusaders emerged as the favorite to win the 3A-4 race with a 39-14 win vs. Fort Meade.

This week: TC travels to play Cardinal Mooney.

15. Clearwater Central Catholic Marauders (3-1)

Last week: Diquan Walker and J.T. Steele came up big for the Marauders in their 49-0 win vs. Shorecrest Prep.

This week: CCC hosts Trinity Catholic.

16. Kathleen Red Devils (3-1)

Last week: The Red Devils defeated Ridge, 42-13.

This week: Kathleen hosts Winter Haven.

17. Hillsborough Terriers (1-2)

Last week: The Terriers got off the losing schneid with a57-3 victory over Leto.
