More state champions were crowned on Friday at the FHSAA Competitive Cheerleading State Championships.

Oviedo knocked off five-time state champs Dr. Phillips to claim the Class 2A Small Varsity title. Dr. Phillips finished as the state runner-up.

Bishop Moore was able to extend their state record to six-consecutive championships with another victory in the 1A Large Varsity division. Bartow won it's second state championshp with a victory in the 2A Large Coed Division. Indian Rocks Christian also won its second state championship with a first place finish in the 1A Small Varsity division. Northside Christian was the state runner-up.

Hagerty claimed the 2A Large Varsity title, while Tampa Freedom finished state runner-up. Fleming Island won the 2A Small Coed title and Strawberry Crest was the state runner-up. And Clay won the 1A Large Coed championship.

Due to inclement weather, official results were posted in the 1A Medium Varsity with Sunlake taking the title and the Master's Academy finishing as state runner-up. Winter Park claimed the 2A Medium Varsity title with Alonso taking state runner-up.
