429 yards passing with 155 yards rushing and seven total touchdowns!

Those are solid numbers in a half-season for most high school quarterbacks.

Dwayne Lawson rang them up in one night against a very good Durant defense.

It’s just another memorable moment in what has turned into quite a career for the Hillsborough quarterback.

The 6’5, 210-pound senior has developed into a four-star prospect. He verbally committed to Miami last spring, although his recruiting visits continued this fall.

According to head coach Earl Garcia, he will go down as the best QB to ever suit up as a Terrier and there have been some good ones in the 90’s like Jeremy Earle and in the 2000’s like Jarred Fayson.

Congratulations to Dwayne Lawson for being named BHSN Athlete of the Week!
