Here is this week's Tampa Bay volleyball rankings for week six of the season. Last week's record in parenthesis.

1. (3) Clearwater Central Catholic (17-5) - CCC won the C-M Cares Volleyball Tournament in Miami, with Shea Hamilton being named MVP. She had 47 kills. The 'Canes beat 2013 regional semifinalist Palmer Trinity, regional finalists West Broward and Olympia en route to the finale, where they took down 4A champ Ransom Everglades.

2. (2) Bloomingdale (20-1) - Make that 11 straight wins for the Bulls. Led by Karissa Rhoades, who has 214 kills already this year, Bloomingdale is 9-0 in districts.

3. (1) Tampa Prep (15-2) - District championship time is approaching and the Terps are rolling. They've won four straight and are a perfect 3-0 in conference play.

4. (4) Palm Harbor University (16-1) - The 'Canes have dropped just seven sets all season. Big match with Manatee tonight. If PHU wins, pencil them in as the regular-season district champs.

5. (NR) Mitchell (15-1) - After opening the season with a loss, the Mustangs have won 14 straight, dropping just four sets over that span. Big game on Tuesday on the BHSN Game of the Week versus Springstead.

6. (5) Lakewood Ranch (17-5) - The Mustangs continue to roll, with a 3-1 win over Braden River last week.

7. (6) Manatee (11-3) - Nice bounceback for Manatee after their loss to Lakewood Ranch, beating Riverview. Tonight's match with PHU is a biggie.

8. (8) Wharton (18-4) - Nice wins over Lakeland and Sunlake this week.

9. (9) Calvary Christian (13-4) - The Warriors slipped up against Tampa Catholic, but swept the last two over Tarpon Springs and Cardinal Mooney.

10. (NR) Jenkins (17-7) - Rough weekend for Jenkins, who dropped two matches, but were without Kelly Germain, who went down with an ankle injury.

Next best: Carrollwood Day, Springstead, King, Seminole, Sunlake, Fivay, Winter Haven, Auburndale, East Lake, Northside Christian, Bishop McLaughlin, Santa Fe Catholic, Lakeland Christian
