Booker T. Washington stamped their ticket to the 4A State Championship game after stopping Cocoa's Bruce Judson two-point conversion attempt late Friday night, 14-12.

The Tornadoes are the reigning 4A Champions and now have beaten the Tigers for the fourth consecutive year to go onto the finals.

Washington(13-0) scored both of their touchdowns in the third quarter, first it was Mark Walton's 'Super Man' dive at the goal line, then senior QB Maurice Alexander connected with Vaquan Small to close out the quarter.

Cocoa(11-2) didn't back down.

Midway through the fourth Judson connected with Asante Griffin for a 32-yard score. The Tigers stopped Washington’s drive and gave its offense another shot.

With four seconds left on the game clock Judson hit Chauncy Gardner, in double coverage, in the far deep corner to make it 14-12.

Cocoa went for two and came up short.

Booker T. Washington will face Bolles in the 4A State Championship game on December 6th at the Citrus Bowl.

The game will be broadcast live on Bright House Sports Network and will stream on BHSNLive.com.
