Lakewood senior quarterback Ryan Davis has been named the 2014 Big County Preps Player of the Year.
He is the first player from Pinellas County to win the award.
Davis led the Spartans to back-to-back playoff berths, including an appearance in the 5A State Semifinals in 2013.
In 2014, Davis threw for over 2,100 yards and 18 touchdowns, while also rushing for 1,200 yards and 17 touchdowns.
