The FHSAA announced its Winter Sports Academic winners and several area schools posted the highest cumulative grade point averages.
East Lake was first in in Class 7A boys basketball with a 3.302 GPA. Cambridge was first in Class 2A with a 3.634. Lakewood Ranch had the highest Class 7A girls basketball GPA (3.650).
Crystal River posted the highest 5A girls basketball GPA (3.709).
Jesuit had the highest boys soccer GPA (3.55) in Class 3A, while Berkeley Prep had the highest in Class 2A (3.706). Lakeland Christian had the highest girls soccer GPA in Class 1A (3.653).
