Pound for pound, he was Hillsborough County's best football player in 2013.

He was also the most valuable.

No player meant more to his team. No player elevated his teammates like Ray Ray McCloud III.

McCloud's numbers were staggering....300 carries, 2316 yards and 26 TDs at the running back position. His leadership and his presence were just as valuable.  Led by McCloud, Sickles advanced all the way to the 7A State semifinals. It was the furthest the Gryphons had advanced in their short football history. Still, the work is far from complete. In 2014, McCloud wants to lead Sickles two steps further and the first state title in school history.

That's not the only thing on his mind.

When you are Ray Ray McCloud III, March and April weekends are booked with college recruiting visits. He along with his father Ray Ray Sr. have been  traveling across the Country.

We'll let him take it from there. Click on the link to watch a special interview with Ray Ray McCloud III.
