Chamberlain looked eager and ready for regionals.

The Chiefs were coming off a 2-1 loss to Jefferson in the Class 6A District 9 championship.

They scored four runs on Mitchell in the top of the first inning.  The outburst led to a 10-2 victory over the Mustangs in the regional quarterfinals.

Chamberlain's seniors made a big difference in the game including a two-run home run by Izzy Ordorica in the top of the fourth inning. That made it 7-0 at that point.

Chamberlain did their part to set up a rematch with the Dragons in the regional semifinals.  Jefferson held up their end of the bargain beating Osceola 5-1.  They two will face each other Tuesday.

The Chiefs are now 20-3.
