Manatee and Haines City both lost key playmakers this fall.
The Hurricanes had to replace running back Trevon Walters and others, while the Hornets needed to find an athlete of fill the hole of D.J. Law. Both teams used the spring to try and plug some holes.
Manatee jumped out to a 14-0 lead over Haines City, holding off the Hornets 29-14 in their spring game.
