Springstead picked up where they left off last season with a 20-0 shutout of Hudson on Thursday night.
Eagles' senior RB Daniel Wright carried the load on offense for Springstead, scoring all three of the team's touchdowns. Wright finished the game with 186 yards on the ground.
The game was called after one half due to lightning.
