Land O'Lakes used a late touchdown to beat Zephyrhills 28-24 in their only tune-up before the regular season next week.
Trailing 24-21 with three minutes left in the fourth quarter, Gator quarterback James Pensyl threw a long pass to Ethan Weilant, who made a sliding catch for the score.
Just before the drive, Pensyl hooked up with Weilant on a 50-yard scoring play to pull the Gators within three.
Zephyrhills led 24-14 late in the third quarter and 10-0 at halftime.
Land O'Lakes opens up the regular season next week at River Ridge.
The Bulldogs host Wesley Chapel for their season opener.
